2 Peter 3: 1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. 2 I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Saviour through your apostles. We all can detect that still small voice of the Lord warning us of troubles ahead. We may have full intention of obeying but another voice leads us where God has gently told us not to go. This may happen several times but only deep pain lies ahead if we don't listen and obey God. He knows what is best for us all because He loves us.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. The Lord impressed upon David to bring this message. It is good to give when possible and the Lord will repay you many times over. Always pray deeply before doing so to ensure that you sow your money in the right way.

2 Peter 2:4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgement; David continues the study in 2 Peter 2 (moving onto chapter 3 tomorrow). False teachers wreak havoc and this goes on today as we find ourselves in the last days. David urges us to pray about where best to sow our tithes. Many false prophets exist ; amongst the worst of these in recent times was Jim Jones and his ill-fated People's Temple where 900 people died in a mass suicide. Lean heavily on God's word the Bible and don't get lead astray Beloved.

David teaches on the childlike nature we all need to adopt. Be humble and eliminate ego. David was able to overcome his massive ego from his time in the acting world, after the Lord poured out his intense love over a life changing 7 day period some years ago.
